Sarah Simpson-Thomas, Founder

I am an experienced trust and estate planning lawyer and authorised to practice on my own account. Throughout most of my career, I have specialised in trusts and estate planning and love this area of work.

I founded Trust & Legacy Consulting to offer something that many businesses need but struggle to access - experienced, on-demand legal services that can be adapted to suit your needs. Having worked in law firms and collaboratively with other professional advisors, I understand the tension between wanting to keep work in-house but navigating gaps in skills or resourcing. Trust & Legacy Consulting provides a unique solution - expertise and support when you need it, without the commitment of a permanent hire.

As much as I enjoy working in law, I know that complex legalese isn't everyone's cup of tea. Great legal advice isn't just about technical accuracy - it's about explaining matters in plain English, prioritising what's important to you, and understanding the commercial realities of running a business. When you partner with Trust & Legacy Consulting it's not just about advice - it's about genuinely adding value for your business and your clients.

Outside of law, I enjoy keeping active and spending time with my young family. I am also completing my Masters in Psychology and value the 'human side' of law just as much as legal excellence.
